Overview
The primary goal of this project is to redesign the user sign-up and survey process for the PowerHub platform, ensuring a seamless and engaging onboarding experience for new users. By simplifying the information-gathering process, we aim to enhance user satisfaction and increase the likelihood of account completion.
The Challenge
Users may feel overwhelmed or hesitant to fill out a survey form during the account creation process, perceiving it as an additional barrier that complicates the sign-up experience, especially if they are pressed for time or unsure about the relevance of the information requested.

The Solution
To streamline the survey form process during account creation on the PowerHub platform, we can implement progressive disclosure by breaking the survey into smaller sections or limiting it to no more than two questions. The checkbox for additional communication should be optional, but users must read the privacy policy and confirm their understanding before clicking the submit button.
My Role
As a UX/UI Designer, I collaborated closely with the project lead and developers.

Design Considerations
The design will focus on usability, accessibility, and aesthetic appeal, ensuring a cohesive experience that aligns with PowerHub's branding. User testing and feedback will be integral to the design process, allowing for continuous refinement based on real user interactions.
Ideation & User Stories
Understanding what users aim to achieve with the PowerHub platform was crucial. I developed user stories that provided the team with a clear vision of our design goals and what we needed to accomplish to meet user expectations effectively.

Powerhub Personas
The primary users of this sign-up and survey process are professionals in the renewable energy sector, such as analysts and project managers, who seek efficient solutions for asset management. Understanding their needs and challenges will be essential in shaping an optimal onboarding experience.
Wireframes and User flow
The PowerHub Sign-Up and Survey process starts when the user enters their email, name, password, and accepts the Terms and Conditions on the sign-up page. After clicking "SIGN UP," the system validates the details and redirects the user to the survey screen, where they can optionally provide their job title, department, and opt-in for additional communications. Upon submitting the survey, the system verifies the information, confirms successful account creation, and redirects the user to their PowerHub dashboard to explore the platform's features.

Specs
I present my work in a clear and structured way to ensure smooth collaboration between teams. I create detailed layouts and, when necessary, provide specs and guidelines with precise padding and margin measurements for developers. I break down the user flow into individual screens, displaying them in sequence to show the progression of user actions throughout the system.
High Fidelity Screens
In the final high-fidelity design for the PowerHub Sign Up & Survey process, I created a clean and modern interface that prioritizes user experience. The sign-up screen features clearly labeled fields for essential information, such as email, first name, last name, and password, along with an accessible checkbox for accepting the Terms and Conditions. After users click the "SIGN UP" button, they are taken to a concise survey screen with optional fields for job title and department, plus a checkbox for additional communications. I ensured ample spacing and visually appealing typography for readability and usability, along with clear call-to-action buttons. A confirmation message appears upon submission, reassuring users that their account has been successfully created. Overall, the design aligns with PowerHub's branding and aims to enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
